CANON & HISTORY: Fate/Grand Order. Here's a short summary I wrote up about BB's involvement in both CCC and F/GO:

FATE/EXTRA CCC

The Tsukumihara Academy is a virtual academy existing in a system called the Moon Cell. This academy orchestrates the Holy Grail War, in which Masters summon Servants and fight to the death for a chance to be granted a wish.

Sakura Matou is an AI program in the Moon Cell designed to serve as an NPC throughout the Holy Grail War. Her main role was to run the nurse's office and to tend to injured Masters.

During the early rounds of the Grail War, Kiara Sessyoin removed Sakura's limitations, thereby granting her free will. This causes her to malfunction, putting her at risk of deletion. However, Hakuno Kishinami notices her state and offers to help her. This simple act saves Sakura from being deleted.

Sakura spends time with Hakuno and realizes her feelings for them. Knowing that Hakuno is essentially a glitch in the system that will be deleted by the Moon Cell, she implants her emotions and memories into a separate file. This act will ultimately spawn BB -- the manifestation of Sakura's feelings for Hakuno.

Determined to save Hakuno no matter the cost, BB enacts plans to absorb the Moon Cell. She creates the Sakura Labyrinth in the Far Side of the Moon, where she brings other Masters and Servants to be spared from deletion. She also creates the Alter Egos -- Passionlip and Meltlilith -- during this period of time.

As BB nears her goal of reaching the Moon Cell, she begins to be corrupted by its influence to the point where she can't recall the motivation for her actions. Unfortunately, she is consumed by Kiara in the final battle, though she is restored afterwards.

BB buys time for Hakuno and her Servant to escape upon Kiara's defeat, sacrificing her life in the process.

FATE/GRAND ORDER

BB is recreated by the Moon Cell as a Servant in order to defend itself from Kiara, who is attempting to convert SE.RA.PH into a conduit for her to merge with the world. Although she teases and goads the protagonists, her true allegiance is with the protagonist and their Servants. She becomes pivotal in providing information and resources to defeat Kiara.

PERSONALITY:

BB: That's right. You've already forgotten. By forcing it on me, you alone returned to being normal. But that's fine. I'd rather go mad than forget these feelings. I won't erase them. Even the Moon Cell cannot erase these feelings. If [Hakuno] cannot be saved as long as the Moon Cell exists, I will become the Moon Cell.

BB is frequently referred to as a "bug" in the system, a creation birthed from a glitch that forced free will upon the NPC Sakura. Her existence as an AI was ultimately bound to a specific routine -- she was nothing more than a stone by the road. Present, but never truly alive. She's the manifestation of the feelings Sakura could not keep out of conflict to her protocols, a destructive yet obsessive force who's sole concern is to repay the debt she feels she owes to Hakuno. Before she'd been acknowledged by her fellow NPC, BB had never truly "lived." The time she spent with Hakuno has granted what she views as both love and life, two things she's determined not to waste. This results in a one-track mindset in which she willingly risks almost everything in an attempt to cheat the system.

BB: Our Master and Servant relationship? Haha, you're worried that I might betray you, aren't you? Oh, you're such a coward. Don't you know how much I love rules? I'm good at upholding them as well as breaking them, so you can count on me.

And this ties into BB's nature as a "cheater." BB holds a strange, contradictory nature in which she enjoys bending rules as much as following them. She changes on a whim, deciding to ban private conversations while strictly preventing even her own Alter Egos from causing too much harm to Hakuno and her Servant. As an AI, there are still certain protocols she must follow, which leads her to become quite inventive in finding ways to work around them. She creates the Alter Egos for the sole purpose of activating her self-defense clause so she can fight back against the Masters and utilizes the hearts of young girls as barriers in her labyrinth. Although the trek to the Moon Cell's core is technically impossible, BB cheats by altering her values into an infinitesimal amount, allowing her a shortcut. She's a creative and devious program, capable of thinking outside of the box. Regardless of the costs, she's determined to achieve her goal. This "do it yourself" attitude may be why she's so fond of hard work, something she brings up constantly when she's contracted with F/GO's protagonist.

BB: ...Just kidding. Did you really think I would say something so sweet? Even if you raise our trust level to max, BB-chan's sadist level isn't going to drop a single point! Fufu, you can bid your peaceful life farewell as long as I'm around. I hope you're ready, S-e-n-p-a-i...

This cunning mind is masked with an overdramatic, cheerful act. BB acts with the enthusiasm of a young girl striving to impress her crush -- and that's essentially it. In the presence of Hakuno, her personality completely reverses from a serious, anxious AI to an over-the-top show host. She makes announcements in the format of a talk show, prepares a game of slots for each battle in the Marina Trench facility, and wears a black coat because she thinks it looks "cool." She's essentially doing her best to catch the attention of her crush... all the while obscuring her real intentions. It's essentially a persona that successfully serves two fronts.

Though, there are signs that she truly enjoys acting out. Sadism is BB's favorite way of teasing others. Bullying Robin Hood, acting sweet while simultaneously dishing out punishments -- being in control gives her a kick and it contributes perfectly to her "devilish yet cute underclassman!" act.

BB: I am surely in the wrong. But this is the only thing I could think of. This is the only thing that I could give to you. To create a future for you, who told me that non-existent things exist, this is the only thing I can do. From here on, I will ruin many things. I will become a bug that will burn the moon. Please detest the me that has changed. Please loathe the me that has changed.

Yet, for all her posing and cunning, BB is described as an introverted girl. She's precocious for the sake of impressing her crush and seems to experience her emotions in bursts of mania and depression. On stage and in the eyes of others, she happily plays up her role as "the devilish BB-chan." Yet when she's on her own, she demonstrates a more subdued personality. Her interior monologue as she nears the Moon Cell indicates uneasiness with her chosen path, despite her willingness to commit to it until the end. In her profile, she's described as someone who "gets high [while playing the villain], but hangs her head and gets depressed after retiring to the backstage." She's highly aware of who she portrays herself as: an AI who hates humanity and will therefore torment them, all the while subtly helping them along the way. Her status as a glitch in the system designates her as something less than a "fleeting dream" -- she knows her time at Chaldea will be brief, but so long as she can work to create a safe world for her beloved, little else matters to BB. That is what pushes her through thick and thin, what allows her to bumble through her villainous persona time and time again.

POWERS:
BB has a lot of powers in CCC, but for the sake of simplicity I'll stick to her F/GO powers.

Servant Physiology
-As a Servant, BB counts as a Heroic Spirit, something like a powerful familiar. She is able to switch between a nigh undetectable spiritual form and a physical form. Being a spirit also means she can only be hurt by spirits and that her senses are keener than any human's.

-BB cannot die unless her Saint Graph (think of it like a spiritual core) is destroyed. This allows her to withstand damage far beyond a normal human.

-To stay in the physical world, BB requires an anchor that provides magical energy, such as a Master. The longer she goes without one, the weaker she will become and the faster he will disappear.

-As a Servant, she is subject to his Master's Command Seals. These are magical inscriptions that appear on her Master's hand, allowing them three commands she must absolutely follow.

Ten Crowns: D
A skill that can render any injury and events into something "nonexistent." It's essentially an invincibility cheat -- but having been summoned as a Servant, the most this can do is provide healing for moderate injuries and temporarily providing protection against further injuries.

Self-Modification: EX
Allows her to remodel her capacity as an AI. By consuming other AIs, she's able to expand her memory by vast amounts. This means that she has amazing processing power.

Aurea Boura: C
A counterfeit Holy Grail that BB possesses. She keeps it in her chest and, upon pulling out, she can pour its poisonous contents upon the enemy to hurt them.

It's boob lava tbh.

Cursed Cupid Cleanser: Noble Phantasm
Draws upon the Moon Cell's power so that she can become an invincible nurse for a short period of time. BB creates a Reality Marble (aka a magical space) where she then charges at her enemy with a giant syringe filled with magical materials.

Magic Resistance: B
Allows her to "cancel" weak spells below her rank. Fate/ measures these spells as anything "with a chant below three verses."

Item Construction: A
Allows BB to construct magical items for both war and everyday use.

Territory Creation: A
Allows the creation of a terrain for the purpose of gathering magical energy.

OTHER: I'm sorry she really can just turn into an invincible nurse. It's BB.

GAME INFO;

MAGIC ABILITY: The ability to modify her body aka to essentially shapeshift. In low frequency worlds, she'll only be able to transform one or two extremities.

ACCLIMATION: 8! BB is used to being dropped into new worlds because of Chaldea's mission, but she'll be massively unhappy at the idea of being away from her Master. She'll get straight to work on getting back to Chaldea, ASAP. If it means playing by the rules of this world for a little bit, she can do it!
